My Journey
Confessions from a cozy mystery author. I kill husbands. Well, not really, but I've always wanted to write murder mysteries and husbands make great victims. Especially the awful ones. I was weaned on Nancy Drew. I played a lot of Clue. I adore Agatha Christie. It's never too late to follow your dreams, no matter how long it takes. Friends say I am a mischief-maker, story-teller, and bender of the facts.
A career journalist, I now write modern-day, not-so-cozy mysteries without much regard for the truth. Born and raised a wild child on Florida’s sandy beaches, I now live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. I very much like the ratio of people to trees in The Natural State. I am an insatiable world traveler, and plan to turn my bucket list travels into backdrop settings, sharing destinations with readers on the hunt for whodunnit.
The Cardboard Cottage Mystery series is set in Arkansas every other book, and on a bucket list destination every other book. We've traveled to Hot Springs, Arkansas; Galapagos Islands, Ecuador; Arkansas Wine Country; and now we're headed to Ireland.
