I feel like I've just gotten off a roller coaster that rode every hill and dale of the Ozarks promoting book 4. Y'all are really something special!

So much to celebrate in May! Mother's Day tops the list. Happy Mother's Day to all of those heroic people who serve to nature and nurture the young and clueless. We salute you!

As giddy and grossed out as we felt with that first game of Spin the Bottle, we were participating in a ritual -- the kiss -- that some scholars claim is more the 4,500 years old. Here are some kiss facts you might not know!

It feels like a magic endeavor. A rabbit out the hat. I put on my writer hat and spend nearly a year at the keyboard penning the tale. And then I put on my publisher hat and manage 5 MILLION TRILLION details. 

Since  we gossiped last, I've gone down the rabbit hole in my writing studio  for eight solid months, traveled down memory lane in Ireland, put  together 80,000 pretty gosh-darn good words of a story, and emerged on  the other side relatively sober and sane.

Wherever you live, take a  walk through the gardens in full bloom, paddle a river a lake or a pond,  camp, fish, have fun!

That's what I'm doing when I'm not writing on Killer Croquet on the Emerald Isle, book 4 in the Cardboard Cottage Mystery series.

Jane  and the Arkansas 4 are hobnobbing with the California crowd this week  at the IBPA Publishing conference. We're even meeting up  with Eddie Gamara (yes, we're name dropping) at Paramount.  Who do you think should play the Arkansas 4 in the movie?

The  year 2024 is the year of the Dragon! It's a time for creativity and new  ideas. Don't let it all go to your head like Smaug, though. Stay  down-to-earth and avoid being arrogant or greedy. If you're looking at  your wallet, prosperity could be on its way.
