Confessions from a cozy mystery author. I kill husbands. Well, not really, but I've always wanted to write murder mysteries and husbands make great victims. Especially the awful ones. Who hasn't had at lest one. Hence, the hashtag: TheHusbandAlwaysDies!
As a reader, I was weaned on Nancy Drew. I played a lot of Clue. I still adore Agatha Christie. Friends say I am a mischief-maker, story-teller, and bender of the facts. I own it. I and an adventurous writer and love writing about female friendship.
A career journalist, I now write modern-day, not-so-cozy mysteries without much regard for the truth. Making stuff up is so much fun. Born and raised a wild child on Florida’s sandy beaches, I now live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas in The Natural State.
I am an insatiable world traveler, and like to share destinations with readers on the hunt for whodunit. The Cardboard Cottage Mystery series is set in Arkansas with every other book set in a bucket list destination. The Arkansas 4 have been to Hot Springs, Arkansas; Galapagos Islands, Ecuador; Arkansas Wine Country; and now Ireland. Where are we going next?
